Deep tissue technique

Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that uses deep pressure.

By combining slow strokes and firm finger pressure, the goal is to release tension and tightness deep in the muscles and connective tissues.

A deep tissue massage typically focuses on the primary areas of discomfort.

Trigger point technique

Trigger point therapy is based on the idea that certain points in muscles can become tight and irritated, causing pain in other parts of the body.

This technique targets sensitive areas of the muscles, known as trigger points, which are often the root of stiffness and persistent pain.

By applying concentrated pressure to these points, trigger point massage can reduce discomfort, improve circulation, and help restore normal muscle function.

When the trigger point is released, the muscles can relax and allow fresh blood to flow, carrying nutrients to the cells and helping the tissue return to a healthier state.

You may notice more range of motion in that muscle without pain.

When this massage is especially useful

With the right technique, many clients experience significant relief even after the first deep tissue and trigger point session.

It is advisable to repeat the treatment until the body feels light again and large knots are no longer noticeable.

This massage is especially helpful if you sit a lot at work, do not move enough, practice little sport, or do not receive regular bodywork.

Monthly massage therapy is often recommended.
